eTA Grace Period Ends September 29, 2016!
As of the 30th of September 2016 every traveller to Canada, who is a National of a Visa exempt country, must have an Electronic Travel Authorization. (The eTA is required for people transiting through Canada as well.) Those who fail to obtain an eTA will be prohibited from entry ... without exception.
So do make sure that you apply for your eTA before your travel date if you fit the criteria. It is a simple credit card transaction on-line that costs just 7 dollars Canadian and the eTA is valid for up to five years.
